my favourite peice of writting- the witches

The Witches by Skyla Matthews Part One Once there was a family. No, not a super family, an ordinary family. The family lived in a big house in England. There was a little boy, a mother and a father. The mother decided to go out on a dinner date with the father and the little boy stayed with a babysitter. Her name was Mary. She was a nice, kind woman. Mary made the little boy some supper. Part Two The little boy cried because he missed his parents. He thought they were going to be back by now. Hearing knocking, Mary opened the door because people were at the door to tell them some news about the parents.. They said that the little boy’s parents had died in a car crash last night. The little boy ran upstairs and went to his parents room to see them but he saw a made bed with no one in it. He thought his parents were in the kitchen! “MARY!” called out Tom. “Where are you?”. She was crying because of the sad news. The little boy went up to her and asked, “Are you okay?”. Mary said, “Yeah. Kinda!”. Mary sighed and wiped off her tears. “Why are you crying?, asked the little boy. Well, your parents died in a car crash. The little boy, now understanding, ran upstairs into his room! Part Three The next day Mary was packing her stuff to go. She went upstairs to wake the little boy named Tom up. He woke up and Mary said to him, “I am going to take you to your grandma’s house in Norway.” “To live there?”, asked Tom. “Yes!”, said Mary. Tom was so excited to go to a different country, especially Norway. So they went to the airport so Tom could go to his grandma’s house. When they landed, Grandma was at the airport waiting for Tom. Grandma said, “Hello Tom. Where is Mum and Dad?” Tom gulped and said, “They are dead!” “What!” said Grandma. “I thought you were just coming to visit!”, Grandma said in a laugh. Grandma then said in a quite voice, “I’m so glad you're living with me Tom. I’ve never had any company since I moved from England!” “What do you mean?” Tom said. “I lived with you when you were a tiny little baby.I moved because I wanted to make a change without witches in my life. “England is a beautiful place, but there are too many witches there. I told your mother and father to move with me because I wanted you to be safe, but your parents said no, there is no such thing as witches. We are staying here no matter what happens to us. We’re only moving if something happens to Tom! ONLY THEN!!!” “So I just moved by my self and I found the biggest house in the whole country.” “Did you buy it?” asked Tom. “Yes, of course I did Tom,” said Grandma. We then went home to bed.
